Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
Lord Jesus said that all those who are weary and burdened can go to him, and he will give us rest, He will give us peace. The first thing we should do every morning when we get up is to be quiet before the Lord, read the Bible and pray, get strength and guidance from the Lord to do daily work . After a day’s work, we should also rest in Him in the evening and study the word of the Lord. We can also sing hymns to worship the Lord. If we can play musical instrument at the same time, it is even better, worship is pleasing to the Lord.
Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. (Proverbs 8:34)
If we listen to the Lord, watching at His door every day, and waiting quietly before the Lord, we will receive His blessings and experience his presence.
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you (Matthew 6:6)
Here we see that God is pleased when we pray to Him, He is pleased when we seek after Him, when we pray to Him in secret, He will reward us.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)
There is trouble in the world, but we have peace in the Lord. In the world, there are weariness and burdens, but there is rest in the Lord. We should take His yoke upon us and learn from Lord Jesus, for He is humble and gentle in heart, we will find rest in Him, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
