The parable of the budding fig tree

Luke 21:29-33 29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Here the Lord Jesus said that Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. What are these things mentioned here? We can find out from the previous verses and parallel passages in other gospels, these things include the following:
Luke 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
Here it says that there will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places. We know that some countries have famines, and the current pestilence Covid is global. These things also include many false Christs, false prophets will appear, Christians will be persecuted, and the gospel is going to be preached to all nations. We know that the prophecies of the Bible are being fulfilled. The kingdom of God is near means that the Lord Jesus’ second coming is near. The Lord Jesus went on to say that this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. That is to say these things will happen in one generation. We see that some of the things have already happened in our generation, so the Lord Jesus will come again in our generation.
May God bless you and your family. 😊
