We know that the prophecies of the Bible are being fulfilled. The kingdom of God is near means that the Lord Jesus’ second coming is near. The Lord Jesus went on to say that this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. That is to say these things will happen in one generation. We see that some of the things have already happened in our generation, so the Lord Jesus will come again in our generation.
