John 14:6-15 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” 8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” 9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. 15 “If you love me, keep my commands.
Here the Lord Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can go to the Father but through him. That is to say, he is the only way to God the Father. The Lord Jesus is the truth, the word of God is the word of the truth, the word of God is the truth, and the Lord Jesus is the embodiment of the truth. The Lord Jesus is life, the source of life. The Lord Jesus went on to say that if anyone knows him, he knows the Father. Anyone who has seen him has seen the Father. The Lord Jesus manifests the heavenly Father, if someone sees the Lord Jesus, he knows what the Father is like, and knows the character of the heavenly Father. Lord Jesus and the Father are one, he is not the Father, he is one of the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, i.e. the Son. The Lord Jesus said that If you ask anything in his name, he will do it. Here we see that we can not only pray to God the Father, but also to ask and pray to the Lord Jesus in the his name, this once again shows His divinity. The Lord Jesus said: He who believes in me will do what I do, and will do greater things than this, because I go to the Father. The Lord Jesus preached the gospel, performed miracles, healed the sick and cast out demons. Here the Lord Jesus said that those who believe in Him could also do it. I prayed for the healing of some people, and the Lord answered my prayer. This is the promise of the Lord, the promise of the Bible. Glory to the Lord.
May God bless you and your family. 🙏😀
