Mark of the beast

Revelation 13:16-18 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Here we see that if someone doesn’t receive the mark in his right hand or in his forehead, he cannot buy and sell. He cannot live, eat and survive.
Two years ago we went to China and found that you cannot pay by cash in many places, you can only pay by scanning bar code using Cell Phone. We know in Canada we can pay using credit card to scan. Technology is available to implant chip into human body.

Revelation 14:9-10 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Here we see that if someone receive mark of the beast from the anti-Christ, worship the beast and his image, he will lose his salvation. He will receive torments of Hell.

Prayer and seek God’s face part 3

Luke 18:1-8 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2 He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’4 “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’”6 And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Here the Lord teaches us we should always pray and not to lose heart. Sometimes the Lord hears our prayer right away, sometimes not right away. We should not lose heart, we should like this widow persistant in prayer. Continue praying until we see results.

Luke 11:5-13 5 Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; 6 a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him.’ 7 And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’ 8 I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity[a] he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[b] a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Here is another parable about persistant in prayer, we should keep on knocking the door until it is open. Here is talking about asking the Heavenly Father for the Holy Spirit, seeking Lord’s presence, seeking Lord’s face. The Lord Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. We need to abide in Him in order to bear fruit, apart from Him, we can do nothing. Eternal life is to know God and Lord Jesus, that is to have intimate relationship with the Heavenly Father and  Lord Jesus.

Lower back pain was healed after prayer

Two weeks ago, a colleague came to my office. He told me that he had lower back pain. I asked him what happened. He said he didn’t know either. I was thinking whether I should pray for him. The next day I passed by his office and he told me again that he had lower back pain. I asked him whether I should pray for him. He said yes. Later I laid hands on his lower back and prayed for him. After a while, he said that it was better, I laid hands on him again and prayed for him. The next day I saw him and asked him how many percent better. He said 50% better. He said that he could not stand straight the day before, and now he can stand straight. Later, he was getting better every day. After a week, he told me that he was 80%~90% better. The week after that he said that he was 95% better. Later he was completely healed. Thank the Lord, glory to His name. 😀

Arm injury was healed after prayer

A non-Christian friend who attends our church is a retired professor. He is from Malaysia. Some time ago, he went back to Malaysia and accidentally fell down, his arm was injured, and his arm was hung with a strap. He couldn’t move his hand. I asked him whether I should pray for him? He said yes. I  prayed for him, but it didn’t get healed at beginning. I continued praying for him recently. I saw him last Sunday and asked him about his arm. He told me that it was healed and he could move his hand. I saw that he did not hang the strap on his arm. Thank the Lord for his healing,  glory to His name. 😀

Prayer and seek God’s face part 2

Continue to share about prayer and seek God’s face. Lord Jesus has a prayer life, we can see from the following three verses.

Mk 1:35  Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Here we see Lord Jesus got up very early in the morning to a lonely place to pray.  When we get up in the morning, the first thing we should do is to pray.
Lk 6:12-13 12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. 13 When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles:
Before Lord Jesus the 12 disciples,  He prayed all night.
Luke 5:16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
Jesus often went to lonely places and prayed. He had a prayer life.
I used to read a book by Mardam Guyon on prayer.  I found it quite helpful. The name of the book is called
“A short and easy method of prayer” You can download the pdf version of the book from the link on the left.
Madam Guyon spent a lot of time in prayer.
John 15  Lord Jesus says  that He is the vine,  we are the branches, Abide in the Lord we can bear fruit, apart from Him, we can do nothing.  If we constantly draw near to God, seek His face, seek His presence then we can pray for healing of other people’s sickness
Mk 16:16-18  16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.
When Lord Jesus heal people, sometimes He lays hands on people, sometimes He just speaks the word.  When we pray for healing,  no need to lay hand every time, we can just pray.
1 Cor 12:9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit
1 Cor 12 talks about different people  have different gifts,  gifts of healing is one of them.
Mk 8:22-25 22 They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. 23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”24 He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.” 25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
Here we see that the blind man was healed partially first, then  was healed completely. We should also pray until  we get results.
Recently I had a few more experience praying for the healing of  sickness of a few people., such as a christian sister with headache, my younger sister with head dizziness, a senior brother with  head dizziness, a non-christian friend with arm numbness. Thanks the Lord, glory to His name.

Back pain, lower back pain healed after prayer

A Christian sister had back pain and lower back pain problem. I prayed for her, after some time she told me that her lower back pain was healed. Later I met her and knew that her lower back pain was healed, but back pain was not healed yet. I continued praying for her, later knew that her back pain was also healed. Thanks the Lord, glory to His name.

After a person is born again, the person receives the Holy Spirit, connects with the Lord. The Lord is the vine; we are the branches. We need to constantly abide in Him so that we can bear fruit. Healing is fruit. We need to constantly connect to the Lord in order to bear fruit.

Arm numbness gone after prayer

Some time ago, A friend who came to our church told me that there was numbness in his left arm, I prayed for his arm once for a while, then I asked him how he felt, he told that there was no improvement. The Sunday before last I met him in the church, I prayed for him and continued praying for him in the following days, I met him again last Sunday, he told me that the arm numbness was gone. Thanks for Lord, glory to His name. 😀

Headache and head dizziness healed after prayer

Not long ago, a Christian couple invited us for dinner in their home. When we had conversation during meal, we learned that the sister had headache problem for some time, then I asked her whether I should pray for her for healing. She said yes, I prayed for her headache before leaving their home, then continued to pray for her. Not long later we learned that her headache was gone. Thank the Lord, glory to His name.

Recently my sister had head dizziness. I prayed for her for some time, then she told me that her head dizziness was gone. There is an old brother in our church who also had head dizziness. After praying for him for some time, the head dizziness was gone too. Thank the Lord for His healing, glory to His name.

Headache, head dizziness was healed after prayer

Some time ago, one of my high school classmate in WeChat classmate chat group told me that she had headache, head dizziness and foot pain problem, she asked me to pray for her. After prayer, I asked her how she felt, she said that she will be healed with prayer. I continue praying for her, I asked her recently how about the head dizziness and foot pain, she said much better. Thanks the Lord for His healing, glory to His name.

Mark 16:16-18 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Here it says signs will accompany those who believe. That is healing will accompany those who believe, those who have faith. Healing not just accompanies special people, but those who believe. In the Bible Lord Jesus healed people all the time. Healing is also very common in the early church. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and for ever. He still heals. Do you believe that Lord Jesus can heal? Do you believe that He lives inside Christians, He can heal you through me? If so, please tell me your sickness or pain, I will ask the Lord to heal you.

Headache was healed after prayer

Some time ago, my wife and I went to visit an old couple. They are old brother and sister. The old sister’s health is not very good. I asked her whether she has any health problems which I can pray for her. She told me that she had headache and other problems. She had unbearable headache, I have been praying for her from time to time. Today I talked to her over the phone and knew that she had no headache. Thanks the Lord for healing her headache. Glory to His name. If you have any health problems, please let me know and I can pray for you.

God listens to children’s prayers

A few years ago, the pastor and his family wanted to apply for immigration. To immigrate in our province, French is required. Our Pastor’s wife went to French school to learn French. Her French is not very good. One time she needed to take the French exam, her younger son prayed for her and he prayed that she would get 100 marks. Later she really got 100 marks. God listened to children’s prayers.

I shared the above testimony on WeChat. A few days later, I attended the Bible study in the Church. The pastor shared the same thing. He shared that God listens to children’s prayers. He prayed when he was 5 years old and God listened to his prayers. He also mentioned that his younger son used to pray when he was small and God listened to his prayers. Thank God.

The Bible says: Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. 14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:13-14)

Prayer and seek Lord’s face part 1

In the parable of unrighteous judge or the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8), Lord Jesus encourages us to pray and not to lose heart.  The parable tells us the importance of persistent prayer. Later Lord Jesus says that “However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” He is saying that when he comes, can he find people persistent in prayer, people praying day and night.

The parable of “A friend comes at midnight” (Luke 11:5-13) also shows us the importance of persistent prayer. Lord Jesus says “how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”.  He is very willing to give us the Holy Spirit if we ask and keep on asking.

Canaanite Woman’s daughter got demon possessed (Matthew 15:21-28),  She asked Lord Jesus to cast out the demon, at beginning Lord Jesus didn’t answer the request of the Canaanite Woman, because Lord Jesus came to earth to preach Gospel to the Israelites first, not Gentiles. But because of the persistence of the Canaanite women, Lord Jesus gave her what she requested and praised her for her faith.

In Psalm 27:8 Psalmist David says “My heart says of you, Seek his face! Your face, Lord, I will seek”. Seek His face is to seek His presence. The Lord is not an easy catch; we should seek him until we find Him.

Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Here it says that when we pray in secret, our heavenly Father will reward us. The Lord wants us to draw near to Him, to seek His face. When we seek His face, He will reward us.
